Homemade Horlicks

Ingredients

Wheat grains : 1 cup

Almonds ,Cashew, Pista : Handfull

peanuts : Halfcup

Lump sugar : According to taste

Preparation process

Soak wheat grains for 12 hours then rise them and keep them for sprouting .Dry the sprouted wheat grains (or) roast them over medium flame .Roast peanuts,almonds,cashew,pista.

Grind the wheat grains into fine powder and collect the powder using sieve and repeat the same process for rest of the ingredients and mix them all .Store it in glass jar for regular use which is free from all chemicals,added sugars and other harmful colors and ingredients . πŸ™‚

Healthy Tasty High Protein Indian Dosa

We started today’s blog with a healthy food recipe, which is very important to enjoy the life with all living creatures around us and with lots of love from bottom of our heart. Started the joy with healthy recipe.

Black peppercorn

1/2 cup Horse gram(vuluvalu)

1/4 cup brown rice

1/4 cup tur dal

1/4 cup green mung dal

1/4 cup bengal gram

1/4 cup yellow mung dal

1/4 Masoor dal

8-9 red chilies

3 table spoon grated coconut

handful of curry leaves

1 1/2 cups of water

small piece of ginger

pink himalayan salt as per your taste

1 onion and carrot

Handful of coriander leaves

Preparation Process

Preparation process starts from the night ,soak all the dals overnight along with red chilies. It should soak for at least 4 hours prior the batter preparation.Next day morning rinse all of them twice and add them to a jar along with jira ,graded fresh coconut ,salt,black peppercorn,turmeric powder,handful of curry leaves ,ginger and finally add 1 1/2 cup of water .Then grind it coarsely , take the batter to a bowl add finely chopped onion ,carrot and coriander leaves .Batter should neither be too thick nor too thin .

Heat the pan and spread the ghee ,take one spoon of finely mixed batter and spread it as thin as possible .Please make couple of holes through of dosa and pour ghee .

Curry leaves helps in hair growth and skin brightening ,House gram and all the ingredients have protein and lots of health benefits .Enjoy the taste with ginger chutney .

Peanut butter

One of my favorite and easy process which filled with protein and tasty too .You can enjoy the breakfast with bread and peanut butter/boiled eggs .Don’t just dump your stomach with routine unwanted carbs .Enjoy each and every bite of your food in life which gives life to your body too.

Salt : 1/4 table spoon

ghee/coconut oil/vegetable oil/olive oil : 2 spoons

Preparation process

Roast peanuts and grind them by adding salt and ghee until it becomes smooth paste .Its yummy and tasty .You can have this with wheat bread to enjoy the taste πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
